there is no way that somebody would pay 10000 dollars for a drawing of a spider unless ur P.Diddy or Bill Gates. i think somebody just bid 10000 dollars and just didnt pay.

Talking about Drawings and Paintings a story true. I was repairing a Lead roof above a place in London, where the guy Alan repaired paintings for the Royal Academy and British Museum, He was well connected. One day He asked to borrow money to buy some Modilianes Jewish Painter. I would get my money back plus 5% profit, so I helped him out within a week I got my money. Three weeks later He approaches me with this painting a Renoir called A Girl in Repose, He was doing me a favour bcause I had helped Him, £55,000, I had it but at the time thought no its pushing it a bit, thanked Him and left, Him telling me that I was a fool not to take it as it was worth fortunes. that was 77 or 78. Now for the good bit, It was auctioned at Sotherbys in New York in 94 for 17 1/2 million smackers, what a Fucking idiot.

I don't think i would remember the name if I didn't think it was beautiful when I saw it - where ever I saw it! I have the worst memory sometimes!

I work for some very rich people, I held an original Leonardo da vinci sketch the other year .
A fellow who works for me on occasions showed me his art collection and i got to hold and check out an original Salvador dali lithograph print. His famous father whos an artist gave it to him.

Also; (didnt touch it) but got to stand and work underneath an original Piccaso worth over 30 million at the time. It was only about 2ft x 2ft .The owner Ron Walker said "I have to go out mate, just pull the door too when your gone ok". Hmmmm quick flight out ...

Get to work next to Brett Whitleys stuff alot too they are usually wall size.
Many others I get to see but dont know who most are by ,love good art.
