I WOULD be concerned if Rahman had the sneaky ability to KO people like Corrie Sanders did. This does seem like a fight that Wlad wouldn't worry too much about but honestly Hasim Rahman has been so piss poor the past couple fights he has had that I am not worried.

Wladimir is fighting at his best and barring Rahman having an iron chin or just swinging like a mad man from the get go we're going to see a beat down.

Watch Rahman vs Maskaev I & II, it's all you have to see. Sure Rahman has reach but he is too lazy in the ring and doesn't counter well at all AND Manny Steward is in Wlad's corner and I'll be damned if Manny is letting Wlad sleep on Rahman!

If you're going to bet on this fight you might as well bet on Rahman because you'd have to bet so much on Wlad to make money it's not even worth it.

I would put a bet on Rahman if the odds were like 50-1 but I'd be willing to place a bet that Starr, Purist and Majesty were actually different people if the odds were 50-1. F.... it, its 50-1.

This is a farce, Rahman looked like a senior tour fighter last time out. My punches have more snap than his.

....I think Lennox Lewis enjoys seeing Rahman getting KO'd too much

That being said, Rahman gave Maskaev lots of trouble early in both fights and Hasim was leading on the cards of both fights. I think Wlad is a faaaaar better boxer than Maskaev and he has a lot more power too, this should be a fairly quick and dominant performance

Everyone says that Wlad has a glass jaw but he hasnt hit the canvas in his past 6 fights and has fought at least 3 top ten heavyweights. I think the knockdowns in the Peter fight were more from lack of confidence, and caution than clean shots to the jaw. He seemed to go down just so he could regroup and never appeared rocked or out on his feet. Brewster took a worse beating in their 1st fight than Wlad and the knockout was more from exhaustion/punching himself out than a shot to the jaw. I really dont think he has a glass jaw and I believe he will crush Rahman easy. I like Wlad, but I am by no means a hugger. I think his cautious style is somewhat boring but I dont think Lennox Lewis was any better. I do think Vitali is the better of the two just because V has more confidence. I think for now the brothers are and will be the best heavyweights for the near future and the one thing I like is they do produce KOs. Do I miss the days of Mike Tyson?? Of course...But it could be a lot worse. I mean Chris Byrd was number one for a while....

To add to that I think Klitschko was still adjusting to what he was learning from Steward. And Lewis did do it better than he does. Lewis is a lot more fluid; Klitschko seems so... textbook. He is excellent technically, but if what he knew wasn't working I don't know if he could think up something new on his feet.

Rahman does not deserve the shot, he was a disgrace to loose it in the first place to Maskaev.

Too true but I think it's a good thing Wlad is giving Rahman one last shot...I'm sure Vitali would have if he didn't HAVE to fight Juan Carlos Gomez (who should last all of 1 round) very soon.

Hasim should just be happy to get a shot.

I'm still wondering who is next....sure Povetkin is going to be ready in September but he can fight again if he's able to end this one early and without incident

I don't see Rahman winning, obviously anyone has a puncher's chance against Wlad, but I can't see Rahman getting past his jab.

The most interesting thing about Wladimir Klitschko is that he has 5 consonants in a row in his last name. I'll bet no other champion in history, besides his brother, has that distinction.
