Well said, I have felt this way for a few years about Oscar, he has done more for Mexicans and Latin Americans in general over any other fighter. A smart business person, a great name in the sport of boxing, and a generous philanthropist (i may have spelled that wrong)

Although this guys paper sucked and I cant believe they are giving away degrees with BS like that, he did make one resounding point that made sensel; Oscar has beat the "Real Mexican fighters" Chavez, Vargas, Paez, Ruelas and that has hurt him in a sense with Mexican, Mex-American, and Latin/Hispanic fans and the reason behind it is because we still are stuck in the dark ages. Hispanic people like other minority groups relate more to someone in their own difficult situation instead of aspiring to or being proud of someone of their own race who has made big accomplishments or has succeeded greatly in life.
