It's hard to pick ten that stand out on the plus side because of their personalities, there's lots of people in the business I like, it's easier to pick 10 who stand out on the down side, but here goes, in no particuilar order...
Alexis Arguello - A true gentleman, personified the word respect.
George Foreman - Don't know that he had a personality back in the '70s, but late in his career, and as an announcer, he's hard not to like.
Bernard Hopkins - Hard to find a reason why, I just like him. Kinda like cheering for the bad guy.
Marvin Hagler - As much as anyone, he had the heart of a champion.
Lennox Lewis - for his Canadian roots.
Howard Cosell - Back then, a pompous ass. Now? Pure nostalgia.
Muhammed Ali - A great interview, funny guy, Did a lot to help out the less fortunate.
George Chuvalo - Paid some horrendous dues post boxing, but always held his head high and tried to remain positive.
can't really think of anyone else. I will give an honorable mention to Antonio Tarver. He'll always be one of my heroes, for his slap down of the hot dog they called RJJ.
