It looked like Hasim was laying on the ropes hoping Wlad would unleash on him and get winded so he (Hasim)could then go for the win but it didn't happen that way. Wlad showed no fear and no respect for Hasim.

Dr Slap done what he does best. Jab jab jab and nothing else.
Rahman done best what the US heavyweights do best, go arse over tit.
No wonder Team Slap want Haye to fight Vitali. Slap is garbage, always has been and always will be. His style is horrific, almost like watching paint dry.

I worry for Haye, that jab could knock him off his stride and even out. Haye seems too desperate to get in the ring with him and said that he wanted to fight him next, not another Monte Barrett type fight. He is rushing it more because he knows he is vulnerable rather than seeing a weakness in Wlad or Vitali.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I dunno, Wlad gave him a little respect in the first but when he realised that Hasim wasn't going to throw a damn thing, you could see that he lost all inhibitions.
I see a bit of fear in Wlad in the way he boxes. He's definitely worried about that chin..he had Hasim against the ropes at times and didn't want to throw more than a one-two. I think the only combination he threw was the one to stop the fight. He just doesn't have the same killer instinct that his brother has IMO
My only negative comments about Wlad for this fight are that he didn't go to the body and he didn't use the uppercut. He beat Hasim up with ease but he didn't look bloodthirsty....which his style isn't meant to do but I would have liked to have seen Wlad get after Hasim more.
David Haye wouldn't stand a chance vs Wlad...lefty you talk as much as Haye, but I wonder if either of you really believe he has a good shot.

If you look at where these two sit reguardless of how they got there, i don't really blame wlad for taking it easy in these meaningless fights. No use putting out any unecessary effort or risks against these guys. These opponets getting a free vacation across the pond are the one's who should be ashamed. Wlad's the champ and at home he doesn't have to beat you, you have to beat him. These opponets are a joke and that's not the fault of either of the klitschko's. Hasims only shot was a lucky shot, they didn't even try to build this fight up to make it seem like hasim had a chance they talked more about what wlad and his bro have done than what wlad was getting ready to do. I liked the end where he was like "where haye" i thought haye would hear that and jump in the damn ring

I never thought of it quite that way Mar. I know Wlad is a guy who isn't going to risk much but considering that and considering he has 46 KO's....it's a little bit impressive how he can do that even vs a guy like Rahman.
I wonder what is next for Wladimir....I am figuring it's Povetkin but I hope it's Valuev
