This fight will make or break Yuriokis Gamboa i think he has looked very beatable. In the past despite his athletic attributes and ETC. Although he has always comeback from a knockdown, i think he needs to get more technical.

Be more calm and stop swinging for the fences, his defense also needs some serious work. His chin is up in the air all the time just waiting to get clocked.

Great match up though and this will answer all the questions, we need to know about Yuriokrs Gamboa IMO. Although i don't understand why Yuriokis Gamboa would move down in weight ?

And i just had a look at boxrec and he's fighting some guy called, Roger Gonzalez on January the 9th. I really can't see this fight happening i just think its all smoke and mirrors and just rumours, really can't see Yuriokis Gamboa moving down.

Caballero would be moving up to 126.

Has he ever fought at Featherweight ? im just suprised he would move up in weight. With all the big names he has at his own weight class. To fight a high risk prospect.

Who maybe highly rated by some people but if Celestino Caballero lost, i don't think it would do his career any good. And if he won well he beat an unproven prospect, who has shown major flaws in the past. I think its a bit of a lose/lose situation for Celestino Caballero.

They argue that he would move up cause nobody at 122 wants to unify, that's their take at least.

I guess you have to wonder if making 122 is becoming a bit too much too.

It probably is he's a huge guy for Super Bantamweight at 5'11, i can't think of anyone that has been that tall. That has made such a small weightclass.

Still a shame if he moves up though i was looking forward to him fighting JML. I also made a prediction that in a few years JML would fight Yuriokis Gamboa.

So if this fight does indeed take place and Yuriokis Gamboa beats Celestino Caballero, can you see JML moving up and taking on Yuriokis Gamboa in the future ?

Because i for certain can and what a match up it would be, a great contrast in styles. Between two of the best upcoming fighters in boxing today.

I assume if they could work out a big fight at 122 they'd prefer that.

I think they need to stop with the major rush rush job on Gamboa and his potential.....what is wrong with letting a guy develop gradually and tune up his defeciancys,Thick headed attitude, leaky defense that makes his feeble chin more of a hazard...which he has not done and I think he is a train wreck waiting to happen. With Cab moving up to a thin 126 division and Gamboas explosive power I give Gamboa a shot but he needs hone things up.Trying to make too many super stars too fast!
