I like the rice idea, maybe I'll give it a try, there doesn't seem to be any other types of birds around my balcony. Don't think my neighbors would appreciate a BBgun though, such is apartment living. The hardware store has very big rattraps, I was thinking of trying that.

As for it being easy for me to claim ignorance, is that because I am Canadian, or because of apparent left wing tendencies, or some other reason? No possibility of rep until we get this clarified.
