I posed this question a few years back (except it was comparing Morrison and Cooney to the Klitschko bros), around the time Vitali pulled his "No Mas" with Chris Byrd.
The response then was overwhelming for Morrison and Cooney, looks like not much has changed in the public's opinion since then.

Wladimir and Vitali are HANDS DOWN better fighters than the likes of Cooney and Morrison.


Wlad-Cooney would have been a decent fight as Gerry had a decent chin until he got busted up by Holmes but his quality of opposition was HORRIBLE. Wlad has a jab that is second(if that) to ONLY the guy who slaughtered Cooney and Wladimir has a whole lot more power than Larry Holmes ever did...Wlad by mid/late stoppage

Wlad-Morrison this fight would have been more difficult for Tommy than for Wlad. Wlad has height, reach, weight, and strength on Tommy and I take a good 1-2 over a good left hook any day of the week. Wlad has a GREAT jab and would frustrate Tommy and after Wlad laid into him with power shots Tommy would clam up and the ref would step in mid/late rounds and stop it.

Vitali would have hammered both Tommy and Cooney and been done before round 4.
