I wish I had the character to go out and just move somewhere new to start off in a new place, but I don't want to go too far from home, and have gradually moved back fairly close to where I was raised, two hours away.

Im know what you mean Rhun, I find "far-away" places a bit daunting.
You develop your own network at home, you become reliant on your own system of people, routines and resources.
Breaking from that network is daunting, but once you do you just replace it with another network adjusting to the location and it's environment while using past knowledge to get by..
I think travelling is like ring-expierience to a boxer, only with expierience can you be sure in yourself and move with full confidence.

I day I plan on moving to San Diego.
Not far from here, it's still California but it will def. be a change since I've spent most of my life here in Los Angeles.
San Diego is quite possibly THEE most perfect city to live it.
Near the desert, near the mountains, near the ocean, california, near Mexico and just a great place to one day raise a family.
Planning on breeding some little sunglasses-wearing babies anytime soon? Or is the "one day" mean way down the line? And does the fact it's near to Mexico mean that if family life gets too hard, just run off down there for a week or two's hedonism, then return, claiming it was just a business trip?Sounds nice place though bro.
Everytime I see the title of this thread I think of the circle of life from the lion king.
