Not really sure what that was all about...Noticed it myself....On one hand it could be that since the commenttators were talking Wlad up so much Lennox had to remind everyone exactly how he ruled the division...On the other I think he expected more of Wlad and knew Wlad could have sparked Rahman out much sooner.........

Then again it could just be the old dog feeling a bit underappreciated.......

Why he just got into the hall of fame. I think Wlad holds back on his punches for obvious reasons, the fact of the matter is he's only failed to stop 2 guys since he was knocked out by Lamont Brewster. That is a 80% KO ratio, and they haven't been horrible fighters either, not the best the division has ever seen, but still the best the division has had to offer.

My impression was that he was re-visiting things from his own fights and just thinking through it. Just analyzing the fight and what his approach would be.

I'm a little hot and cold on Wlad. I mean, we complain, but the fact of it is is Wlad is still knocking guys out. Our beef is he's taking like 3 more rounds to do it than we think is necessary. But shouldn't a fight maximize his strengths and minimize his weaknesses? Sure he took a while to KO a faded Rahman, sure Lennox did it faster against a prime Rahman. But Wlad isn't Lewis. No matter how Wlad beats his opponents we'll always remind ourselves of that fact. We'd love Wlad to risk it all and just lob bombs at guys. That strategy would probably work 90% of the time, especially in this era in the division. But Wlad fights to the other 10%, more cautious, but still with the result we want: he knocks guys out. At the end of the day he may not be better than his brother, but he is certainly more prolific, more active, less prone to injury and will be around a lot longer. Look at his record. The guy is on track to doing something most heavyweights don't: fighting a LOT of people. I think people, myself included, are being a tad too picky.
    Oops

Well Wlad was getting quite a bit of praise from the HBO team...Lennox is an athlete and any athlete of that caliber has a bit of an ego...it happens...like a kid who sees thei younger friends getting attention for doing something they just did

not saying that was the reason I said it "Could have been"...It was not the usual Lewis comments
