I think for sure it is a factor, the lack of female fighters, and you also have to consider the distances needed to travel. If you have someone close to you, who is atleast a reasonable fight...you're likely to be fighting them more often just to get the competition. I'd imagine this is why.

The title shot was in Germany though,2 of the losses to Deanna Nance were in Iowa,nowhere near Arkansas

Go back and look,Killersheep brought up that she'd gotten a title shot,and then you said something about it maybe being proximity,so I responded that it was a double wammy,she hadnt lost to the same girl repeatedly,and she didnt get her title shot because of proximity
