I'll do some common scouse phrases including money and other things.

Sound- Another word for OK, good etc "That's sound that"
Scran- Word for food, "Going to get a scran soon"
    A Score - £20
    A Bullet - £1
Swerve - Go against, "Swerve going out tonight"
    Clobber - Clothes
Wedge - Money, "Got a nice wedge on me here"
    Garys - Drugs
    A gonner - Drunk, "He's a gonner there"
If something is a beast/belter it just means it's great. "Belter t-shirt that"
Togger - Football, "Going to play togger soon?"
Inabit - Another phrase for see you later "Inabit mate".

There's a load more but there some common Liverpool phrases.

    A weird city I know

    what the hell?

I think it would be funny if a group of my friends hung out with people who spoke like that.. If any of those words were used in a sentence spoken to me, i'd have no idea what was being talked about..

i already think that using the word "pissed" referring to someone being drunk is weird.. simply because if someone said "he's pissed", i'd assume they were angry at something, not drunk..

along with "mate".. "he's my mate" would mean that you were gay, unless you were speaking in some sort of european/australian accent..

I have to be honest when I speak I use ALL those words I mentioned.

On here I know it's full of Americans and other Brits so I don't use scouse lingo. You ever met me in real life you would think I had my own dictionary I always use the word mate as well "Thanks mate". Very common phrase in Liverpool also.

I use the word mate alot. And I think it is from purely being on here. People look at me funny but fuck. The british invented history.

LOL Wedge is cash "I got a fat wedge on me". Load of cash in your ass pocket is what it means.

You guys gotta visit Liverpool. I'll have a great time talking to you and you not even knowing what it means
