Matched against each other who would be the puncher and how might it go ? Obviously Tyson is the formline .

Bruno may have had the biigger punch but didnt let them go like Danny could
Prime for prime Danny had better stamina
Bruno could take a better punch but couldnt recover as quick as Danny could

    Your thoughts ? . . . .
I think Bruno would get to Williams...I don't think Williams could shrug off those bombs and Bruno would win by KO in the 5th...Just before fatigue or doubt would come into play....
It feels good to be back home.

Williams beat a Tyson that probably everyone here felt would make Williams a one round victim. Tyson just didn't have it any more.

That said, I voted for Williams based on his win over Tyson plus the fact he held up til the late rounds against Vitali. Just explaining my reasoning it doesn't mean I am right,
You vote for Williams based on his win over Tyson even though, as you say, Tyson didn't have it any more. I think that is the wrong fight to base an opinion on, as plenty of average fighters could, and most probably would, have beaten Tyson at that time in his career, e.g. McBride.
With regards to ability i think that Williams outshines Bruno, that said, both at their best i would say Bruno would knock out Williams.

haha! Bruno had a weak chin, danny can take a better punch imo

Bruno lacked the heart of a boxer, he had more than enough to be a good champion, he cuda whiped tyson to... he just never had the heart, the killer instinct. Thats why Tyson won, thats why Bruno was never a great, he lacked the one thing you couldn't teach.
What are you on about? If there is one thing that Bruno never lacked it was heart. Ability was what he lacked IMO. 'He cuda whiped Tyson to'
At that point in both Tyson and Bruno's career Bruno could have fought Tyson ten times, but he would have lost ten times, that was due to the ability of both fighters, heart had nothing to do with it. You can have all the heart in the world but that won't win you fights alone.
I don't think that Bruno had more than enough to be a good champion as you say.
I think he was a likeable character, but an average fighter who i respect because he loved the fight game so much and always showed immense determination.

I find the fact that he fought for the a title 4 times amazing, and although Oliver McCall was an unstable person i take nothing away from Bruno's victory over him.
Danny Williams wouldn't have beaten Tyson if Tyson was in his prime no way. Rite now Bruno is the better boxer of the two but we could still see Williams become World Champ.

Natural talent Bruno had lots. It was coached out of him, ABAchamp at 17 first time up. Danny had 3 goes at the SE divs failed each time. Bruno was better than people give him credit for, He was ranked top ten for a lot of years.

Bruno out jabbed Lennox Lewis in my opinion. As usual his not exactly iron Jaw and his lack of instinct to cover up, and clinch when rocked made him loose. I don't think his jaw was THAT bad... he just couldn't mentally cope with being hurt...

Bruno no question, the moment Williams fell asleep Bruno would be taking his head off.

Someone Who appears to be Bruno left me a comment on myspace saying that he would kill Williams and Harrison in the ring, but then he also said that Henery cooper would be turning in his grave if he could see the state of British boxing.. which is strange.. as Coopers still alive, hmm.
