Such nice footwork and balance
Kind of a crappy feed though.
Youtube doesn't do Lopez justice
Just depends, obviously the later you go in his career the better, there's a good Petelo feed, the Ohashi fight isn't that great.
I've always wanted to see his 2nd fight with Rosendo Alvarez, but i've looked all over and so far nothing. I've been looking for atleast over a year, i've heard such much about it i would love to see it.
I know nothing really of Ricardo Lopez but looking at his record the only thing that really impressed me was that he had a 0 kinda like Joe Calzaghe never really impressed me with his record some may say Ricardo Lopez was a better boxer then Calzaghe but to me they have achieved about the same in who they beat and division the dominated i dont know if i would put a guy with oppsition that was close to Calzaghe at 17 i would rate proably Roberto Duran, Ray Leonard, and Tommey Hearns based on how much they moved up and the people that they beat along the way i am not basing this on skill alone but what they acomplished in there careers.

Good boxer but lack all time great achievement. He should of move up and risk his 0 to test if he really is that good.
That one took a steep turn....the only thing Calzaghe has in common with Lopez as far as boxing ability is that Joe wears gloves and uses a mouthpiece also.....thats about it!Its not all about the numbers.....they both have 0's,but overall skillsets were leaps & bounds apart.

Lopez was pure class and quality. Two major strikes against him IMO....he was at Strawweight or 'minimumweight' (how insulting is that)and had little 'mainstream' appeal, name recognition,no english....should not be held against him.He was a puncher but at the same time a styalist and pin point accurate hitter....I also dont think King did him any favors at times by sticking him on undercards as an after thought.Would have loved a jump up to meet Carbajal...who in contrast had the Olympics,ESPN up bringing and big push.Lopez is a Great, period!!His comp was there,he just swept them up...Nene,Alvarez 1,2 (all time brutal scrap),Grigsby,Ohashi,Sorjaturong,Petelo......Now Porpaoin, that would have been nice
