He hasnt been avoided and he turned down a match with Calzaghe over a year ago, he still hasnt fought any real world rated fighters, hes an old joke.
Like Calzaghe said recently, he was world champ at 25, he beat a legend in Euabank to win it and is still a champ now 11 years later.
Froch is 31 and has only just wan his first title and the only reason he got that chance is because Calzaghe moved up to beat 2 more legends, while Froch was having a life and death battle with someone the same as himself who wasnt proven.

If those guys are taken why doesn't he take a fight with Bute or even Andrade if their rematch isn't gonna happen.

3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
That is because, like Witter, he has absolutely zero economic muscle. That said, he is a far more exciting fighter than Witter and could work his way into a big fight if he keeps fighting the best guys available and winning. He is getting a late strat at 31, though. Also, keep in mind that HBO is who said no to this, not the Taylor camp.

what a great shame for HBO, they are missing out on a potential explosive fight which will draw attention. Froch is an exciting fighter and boxing needs fighters like him, its their loss really. Do they not recognise that carl just won a potential fight of the year fight?

are you pissed or wha'? or do you only watch Froch fights? That wasn't even close to some of the fights that have happened this year! i mean to name one, The third fight between Isearl and rafa was way way way better than Froch's last fight in tearms of skill, class and over all action.
