When you factor in the trainer who told him to keep away from Trinidad the last 3 rounds which lost him that fight you have to feel sorry for Oscar.

If it wasn't for his trainers letting him down he'd be one of the best ever.

I think his problem has been that he hasn't had a high profile trainer. He's paid millions so he should get the best to train him. I'd go for Tommy Gallagher, he's been on tv and everything. He'd be sure to tell Oscar that he 'needed this next round' thus giving Oscar the instruction he has been lacking up to now.
I don't feel sorry for Oscar at all. Go out there and fight like a man.

Vs Trinidad - finish the fight you lazy bum. and train for the WHOLE fight.

Vs Pacman - u suck. pull the trigger. bend at the waist. Hell.. bend anywhere, you can't just walk forward and expect to win.

Vs PBF - engage, pump the jab. things he knows he had to do going into the fight.

He is not a fighter anymore, and I don't feel sorry for him. He's probably a billionaire. Outside of Mayorga (who's a chump), he has given us nothing to be proud of in the last 5-6 years.
I agree to a certain extent. I certainly don't feel sorry for Oscar...the man is incredibly rich and famous. At the same time, i can respect what he has accomplished in and out of the ring...and not just hate him because he is rich and famous. As for the 3 fights you mention...you obviously cannot lay all the blame on the trainers. I thought he won the Trinidad fight...clearly. So whether he coasted the last few rounds...is a mute point for me. Against Floyd, he clearly fought a tactically incorrect fight. His jab worked for him. Now weather he stopped jabbing because it was his fault, his trainers, or simply because he had no gas in the tank...who knows. Probably a combination of all three. As for Pac...he looked like a walking zombie from the start. Pac deserves some credit...Manny was blindingly fast and well prepared. But Oscar just didn't have it from the very beginning. Whether that is because he was weight drained, shot, not well prepared, etc....again, no way to know for sure. Probably a combo of all those things again. What was clear to me...is that Oscar has no reason to keep fighting and IF he does...it should never be at 147 again. Having said all of this...i have respect for his career. Tremendous resume with some big wins and big loses...but he never ducked anyone. Plus, his wealth and popularity translated to wealth and popularity for boxing.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

This just keeps on getting better and better.

I say let 'em fight. Only this time... since it's Oscar's pride at stake... and only fools would dish out another PPV to watch this pitiful display... let it be on free TV. And... let Manny finish the job this time.

I would pay to see him fight PAC at least 5 years ago but I wouldn't pay for ODLH or ANY boxing great out there who is fighting passed his prime, old, worned out, out of gas, drained, etc.

Not only did Pac get the best payday so far but he also got a nice name to add to his resume . More power to him .
