What can I say I'm a complex fellow

Actually I see no contradiction. I am not against gays whatosever. They can do whatever they want to do. I just object to gay marriage because marriage in the uk and us is a religious ceremony conducted with a Christian framework and the Christian Bible says homosexaulity is wrong and that two people of the same sex cannot be married.

It's not my opinion it's what the Bible says and therefore you cannot force Christian ministers and belivers to change it.

I would argue exactly the same if they tried to get the Bible changed to say that sex outside of marriage is ok. According to the Bible it is not. Even though I do and will continue to have sex outside of marriage I would still absolutely 100 per cent be against any movemenent that sought to eradicate that commandment from the Bible.

There are many things that I do and will continue to do that are either against Christianity or technically illegal (only minor like pirating films and videoing my neighbours) but I still recognise that by the ruling of state law these are illegal.

It doesn't mean I condemn those who do these things, not at all, hell I do it myself, but it still can't alter the fact that they are illegal.

If the Bible says being gay is wrong then the Bible says it's wrong.......
