He should definitely wait to fight the winner of Pac -vs- Hatton.

Looks to me like all this talk is BS on the part of Gareth Williams, the lawyer for Hatton.
I sensed this when they came out in press that they are not positioned to just anxiously await word from Arum for a match with Pacquiao. This was immediately after Pacquiao's win, and only a few days after initially stating preference for a Pacquiao victory, so they can battle the accredited P4P King, and a shot at the P4P recognition.
To turn around 180 degrees, completely out of the gist of their previous press releases, they must be motivated deeper than whatever it is that they are justifying it with, with their new pronouncements.
Smokescreen! Create a bargaining chip! PBF have not come out to declare his position in any of these match scenarios. Remember that all these PBF talks are based on hearsay. So Williams' claims are unverifiable. Leverage! They want to establish and send message to the Arum camp that they have a say in the matter of negotiations.
Pretty good ploy, but what they are forgetting, is that if and when Arum shifts gears and head on a different direction, they will have missed the biggest ride back to bigger glory! And of course... they too, have missed on the bigger dough!
