He can say however that he beat Joe Louis.

Again, what Marciano did with his size was awesome. He was an exciting heavyweight and he is undefeated. You can't take that away from him, and why would anyone want to. If it is true that styles make fights, (as we are all so fond of saying) then his level of competition is relative.
