Oscar would dominate chavez jr. Do people think this is a fight because Oscar got domintated by manny? Oscar got destroyed by manny because manny is probably the best fighter of this decade, not becuase Oscar didnt have anything left. Oscar would wipe the floor with that kid. No question about it. Take it to the bank

This is a good fight for Oscar, say what you want about him but he deserves to go out with a better showing and surely he has enough to look good versus JCC Jr plus it would be at the correct weight division for Oscar. Would be quite a scene too to see 100K in the same building again.

Like you guys have said, this is a better weight for Oscar, but I question whether Jr. would make weight. Jr has a reputation for being lazy during training, and he did not make weight for his last fight against Vanda. Well he didn't make weight for their orginal agreed upon weight, they had to come to an agreement to raise the weight limit, 2 days before the fight, since they knew that Jr wasn't going to make it. He made the adjusted weight.

In their first fight Vanda did have Jr hurt a few times, and Vanda can't possibly be compared to Oscar, well a properly trained and conditioned Oscar, so I can see Oscar winning this one.

The more I thin about it, the more interesting it is. Oscar will have fought two generations of Mayweathers and two generatios of Chavezs. It could actually be a good fight and a potentially good showing from either guy. I think there would be a real public interest in it because of the storyline. Huge step up for Jr. and perfect end to Oscars career if he wins.

I would be heartbroken if ODLH beat Chavez Jr. Here we have ODLH beating an old passed-his-prime Julio Cesar Chavez. Years later, he comes and beats his son. Ouch! Both, father and son beaten by the same man, not good, nooooot good. If Chavez Jr. won, no matter how much I root for him, I wouldn't get THAT excited about his victory and wouldn't blind myself like many Pac Fans and ODLH haters from the fact that ODLH was old, passed his prime, worned out, out of gas, etc. All I know it is that having ODLH in his resume would be nice. Any guy out there would love to have ODLH in their resume regardless of his condition now. If Chavez Jr. beat ODLH at least 5 years ago then yeah, that would be quite something.
I wish Chavez Jr. had an amateur career, olympic and jr. olympic exposure, etc. If that was so, we would already see him facing top quality opposition. As for now, all we are seeing is an "amateur" who is facing guys that double or triple his experience, not bad if you think about it.

Didn't some people ask these questions about his fight with Manny?

You are contradicting yourself. Oscar was flat because he misjudged the weights and would have got beaten by even Hatton at the weight. JCC Jnr stands a good shot and I hope he is given the chance to revenge his dads defeat.

Yes, Manny is good but ODLH was everything Pac and his team said and more: out of gas, worned out, passed his prime, old, lost speed, etc. Remember when ODLH faced Chavez? Can we say Chavez was in his prime? Nope. See, now ODLH got a taste of his own medicine.

I was surprised Pac weighted more than Oscar on fight night.

That would be a sweet victory. It would make a nice story. Have it the other way around and I will be crying to see Oscar beat both father and son, sounds cruel .
