I know the divisions would be just stacked.... but I think it would be inherently unfair to some boxers who are naturally an in-between wieght....esp. if they had to weigh in the same day. I think good things happen either way. CC's to everyone. Good chat.

No doubt it would hurt some guys.

But you'd get some real interesting skill versus size type fights. For example, could Calderon go 12 rounds without Vic landing something real clean?

Yeah, I said he might not last long just cause he's getting old.

But, with Castillo and Corrales not being able to make the weight anymore, that was one of the weaker divisions.

CC bro, that is a phenomenal post. Pair those weight classes with ONE unified sanctioning body and that's a recipe for some REAL fights being made on a regular basis. The Welterweight class would definately get cleaned up and make for some real interesting fights.

An older post but been thinking more and more about that, it probably would help the sport with the casual fan.

Only thing is, if there were only 8 weight divisions and only one title a lot of guys might get screwed out of getting a title shot.

Still the champ would be more recognizable to the casual fan.

I kept Guerrero and Linares here because 135 is a much bigger jump than 130. That's questionable but so is a lot of this. This one was tough though I thought.

That was our old rep system....

If you liked someone's post, you could give them a CC - Cool Click, or if you didn't like it - a SC - Sad Click... There was a CC and SC button next to the post (if I remember corret) and you'd click on which one.. A click counted for 1 point. It was anonymous so the person would be credited with the CC point and would not be notified of it.. It would just go onto their total which was displayed similar to how the reps are... It did not alert you when someone had CC'd or SC'd you like it does with the reps, so if you wanted a person to know you appreciated their post, you would have to actually post that you gave them a CC... Of coures being anonymous aswell, there were Sad Click snipers that would just go around SC'ing people for no reason.. I remember I got to about 150 CC's before I got my first SC.. Then they started pouring on..

Anyway, a nice trip down memory lane... CC's are well missed..
