No even if you felt Batman Begins sucked, I pretty much guarantee you won't be let down by The Dark Knight, it's simply not a film where there is much subjective opinion. I'm not saying that to be a prick I can see how every movie I like could possibly not be liked but The Dark Knight is on another level you just have to see it really.

At the very least you'll like it there isn't much chance you'll think it's garbage.

Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction were GREAT... full of hilarious clever dialogue.

But then he lost the plot.

Recently saw Death Proof. Boring as funk. Fact.

"Great" movies that suck = Lord of the Rings. I saw the first one.. thought boring as funk.

Made it through half of the second. Luckily was watching it on DVD and not at the cinema.

Just don't get the love for it

It was great until they get to Brando then it got kind of strange.

You know it's basically 'Heart of Darkness' with Vietnam as a backdrop instead of the Congo

I had to stop watching Dark Knight after about 30 minutes because it was shit beyond belief. I coulnd't stop laughing at Batman and his ridiculous voice trying to look hard dressed like a fetish transvestite.

You mock me for my extreme porn addiction, yet claim a film like Dark Knight is brilliant when they wear the kind of weird latex costumes that they do in my movies.

You think it's cool to watch a man dressed a bat fight a man dressed as a clown whereas I like to watch movies that feature a clown fucking a bat, they are both equally ridiculous imo.

oh shit, the voice annoyed me in the first one, that was annoying so was the plot and the actual movie itself

Yep the voice sucks but it goes beyond that, the film is doomed to fail becuase the character of Batman is just absurd to begin with. No matter how dark and well made the film is it's simply impossible to make cool, a weirdo fetishist who dresses in black rubber latex animal costumes and lives underground.

It's like filming a new version of Romeo and Juliet, with an all star cast, the most lavish costume and set designs and stellar acting across the board, but casting as the role of Juliet, Rosanne Barr.

It doesn't matter how well acted the film is, how romantic and moving, having a morbidly obese middle aged woman playing the role of the heroine would just ruin the movie beyond any hope of redemption.

So it is with Batman, he's just such a sad, ridiculous, pathetic joke of a character to begin with that no attempt at a serious movie will ever work imo, hell you may as well cast me as an action hero

I actually fell asleep during the 2nd LOTR i just don't like it at all, not my type of film. I thought Reservoir Dogs was overrated, didn't like that as much as i thought i would. I liked True Romance, Pulp Fiction, much better.

Bilbo you get gayer by the day, only your sick fuck mind thinks of a super hero costume as some sort of erotic getup you're fucking crazy it's more like armor then tights. Nevermind that he's a complete badass and probably the most badass super hero there is because he doesn't have any of those fairy powers that other super heros have that you wish you had all you can think about is how he looks like he could rape you and get away with it. Seriously you have mentioned Christian Bale before in one of your threads talking about how wierd of a man you are. I remember, it's just you Bilbo only you look at him like that, seriously. Gah Bilbo go look at the Usain Bolt thread and see why I am always right when you are never right. Occasionally maybe enough to keep your opinion somewhat credible but you are typically wrong about most everything.

The voice is hit or miss I admit I didn't like it at first in Batman Begins until I realized for them to seperate Bruce Wayne from Batman they had to change the voice up.

But that doesn't change the fact that it is by some distant the greatest super hero movie of all time and really doesn't even belong in that genre. With that being said I am a huge fan of Nolan, Bale and Cain, and Gary Oldman is another one of my favoirtes. Not only that but no shit The Joker is one of the best and most badass villains of all time. It's half Jack Nicholson and half Anthony Hopkins really, it's badass.

Death Proof was waaaayyy better then Planet Terror. Planet Terror was straight up the grossest movie of all time. Seriously it was so excruciatingly disgusting I don't get how people stayed in the theater long enough to actually get to Death Proof.
