Byrd has fought more than a few boring fights, pernell whitaker was boring, and as much as I like Hopkins, alot of his fights were real snoozers.

Sven Ottke. Some defensive fighters you watch just to see the mastery like Pernell, and others just are defensive when you know they don't have to be.

The boys at Universium can really put on an insomnia cure telethon. Zolt Erdei, Beyer. Even the undercards are full of universium fighters snoozing their way to underserved points victories.

Where you at the York Hall Bethnal green Friday?

If you weren't let me tell you about 'boring' Carl Froch - he dropped your man in the first , breaking his right thumb in the process - then he picked his shots carefully - as magee rushed in and held, rushed in and held for 11 rounds (got 2 warnings for it and nearly a point deducted) - before Froch unscrewed his chin with a whipping upercut with that broken hand - putting magee down on the deck, without even a count. His eyes were at the back of his head and he needed oxygen.

You should get over it mate - magee's supporters did, they left the place before their man even got sat on a stool, leaving their huge Brian Magee banner behind!

It was 'boring' froch and his fans that gave Brian Magee the applause at the end. It was pretty disgraceful.

Perhaps if Brian had fans as passionate as you he might have done better.

    Peace.

Magee needed oxegen cause he froch bust his nose from the first knockdown so it was harder for him to breathe. Froch has got talent, though his cockyness loses him respect from pundits and others. He was outpunched on friday night, magee had the better success rate, which echoes my point that magee went out to box and outboxed froch, leaving froch to wait to use his uppercut as he knew brian was suspect at the chin

For me magee boxed quite well, but it annoyed me how he kept holding. If magee had a sloid chin i would go as far as saying that he would have beat froch on points.

    Jorge Arce!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just kidding. Probably one of the most exciting champs.

Ruiz by a landslide. At least Lewis destroyed alot of fighters, and gave us a thrill. Watching fake a** wrestling{WWE} is better than watching Ruiz. I don't get into watching guys hug.

I was ringside and everyone was shouting at the ref (who was very lax) to stop magee holding.

Magee, with his southpaw style was enjoying a lot of success, but it wasn't very powerful.

It was close on points i agree - but you can't say that magee was winning anything though.

Good fighter nonetheless; Magee should carry on.
