Yes - I am excited FNF is starting back up.....
On a side note, they are hyping Gamboa up so much and I think Gamboa believes all the hype...they make him out to be some miniature Tyson who can knockout anyone...I just have this feeling he is going to get KO'ed when he steps up to some real competition........He has way too many flaws at this stage in his career to be a real threat IMHO...
As somebody who hasn't ever totally bought into the Gamboa hype, recognizes his flaws and all that, is he possibly getting underrated now? He's still got top drawer ability, if you trade with him you're on dangerous ground.
All that being said he fights like a bit of an idiot and he better have a good chin.

Well damn it!! The main event for the 2nd week of FNF is already in the dumper.
I just read that Quintana has injured his ankle in training, and has pulled out.![]()
I'm just glad the show is back! Missed it.

I'm not sure if this is your sentiment, but I also feel that he is being undervalued now, also I think his style will change as he fights better guys. Right now honestly he can fight any way he wants against these guys they are putting in front of him, he's been down a few times, usually off balance, once was because of an elbow.
I wasn't exactly meaning that in the sense that I think he'll evolve his style as he moves up, that's certainly a possibility but that's still an unknown. I just mean, even though I don't think he necessarily fights smart, he still could be a handful for a lot of guys on athletic ability, offensive skill alone. Talking about his flaws, its easy to forget that he's got a lot going for him. Especially considering 126 is not exactly stacked.
