    You mean unlike Florida?
The rules are the rules, and Minnesota has a mandatory recount law

No,it has nothing to do with my cause, man. Its the law of the state,it was the law before anybody cast ballot one,and its still the law

If it had "everything to do with the law" as you say then you must be at least worried about how Al Franken started 215 votes behind Coleman and now has won by 225, not to mention the FACT that in a couple counties they have more ballots than people who voted.....but I digress, congratulations.

I'm not upset, I am just curious about how Franken found 440 extra votes is all.

....and Al Gore didn't even win his home state

I turned off politics for a while after the election, I had just watched too much CNN and MSNBC for too long. So honestly I don't know all the particulars about this as I'm just getting back into being informed. From what I know there were some votes thrown out for technical reasons from a Dem heavy area and they were counted. I could be mistaken.

doesn't change the fact that the whole thing was criminal. Pretty tough for a more "liberal" Dem to win Tennessee after 1964.

Think of how much better we'd be off, whatever you think of Gore he's no Bush.

This article, as with almost everything that appears in the WSJ editorial section, is a mixture of ,lies and rubbish.

    It's explained here

    http://www.fivethirtyeight.com/2009/...heir-fact.html

    why so.

The guy at 538.com is some baseball saber stat whiz who built a math model for predicting election results and predicted the 2008 State/national/presidential elections exactly right. He predicted a narrow GOP win in Indiana and it went narrow Dem, but other than that he predicted everything right down to electoral votes/percentage point wins etc. A first-time baseball guy put the pollsters to shame. He's almost as Infallible as I am. Anyway, he explains why the WSJ is as usual full of it. Franken won fair and square. \read the link, it's full of facts and evidence.

And Lyle, dont think I dont know about Dick Morris and Newsmax trying to raise money to find the money to "be offended" and "buy this election"
I get Newsmax bulletins,so I know what you'll hear on Rush or Sean's show before you do.
Oddly I also get Move.on bulletins, they havent even mentioned the recount.
One side is begging for donations to "fight Al Franken", the other hasnt even mentioned it.
Whose trying to steal the election?

It doesn't matter now....but you had best believe when Al Franken does something stupid (and he will) I'll be right here throwing it in your faces.

Useless post I admit but I can't be bothered to debate Gore/Bush, its not worth it, the merits of plopeater as President versus Bush as president is a bit more on point.

There I fixed it...thanks for the heads up.

Back to the main topic, if Minnesota wants Al Franken as their Senator then they deserve him, however, the way in which Franken has taken the lead is at least suspicious.
