Slow down you're embarrasing yourself homie.
He doesn't come in heavier fight night. Otherwise he would be sluggish like he was against Collazo. You gotta trust me on this.

And I am certainly not embarrasing myself. This coming from the same guy who a few days ago said Tony Margarito was pretty
Wow!, "What a total _____" You can fill in the blank. But my bad for writing DLH was at 142 he was at 147 and that weight on fight night with his clothes on. Pacquiao was 142 and re hydrated to 148 or so.

I vaguely remember reading Hatton saying 6 lbs re hydrated is his optimum.

When fighters make weight, let us say for the fight say 140lbs, they "plan" to rehydrate at a higher weight to gain an advantage during the fight. The more he has to dehydrate to make the weight the less stamina he has for the fight. 4 to 6 lbs is a good target for light welterweight. Generally the more weight a fighter has the more power his punches have thus the reasoning for advantage during the fight. Some fighters/trainers don't like this plan and don't do it, but many do. There are also factors as to weather a fighter is coming up in weight or going down. Because it is not illegal, a fighter can be dehydrated to make weight by using an IV.

Since Pacquiao is normally around 145-150 in shape I don't expect he will try to bulk up any more and will use the same training regiment as he had for DLH. 8 weeks. Hatton on the other hand most likely will opt toward his power and I look for him to go into the fight with as much weight advantage as he can get. Thus why I say about 150. Although I read he plans on training for 13 weeks for this fight.

I think if Mayweather Sr. wants Hatton to train lighter (same as DLH) to gain more speed and turn Hatton from his abilities that got him to the top, I think it is a mistake because Hatton is no Mayweather Jr. and he will loose his power advantage. Lets see what his actual plan is during the training camp watch.
