I think, why can't Hatton be close to number 1 P4P as he's been up to 147 and beat some really decent guys there before being beaten by Mayweather who was P4P 1 and now retired... And Hatton owns 140... But that's exactly it, he's only owning 1 weight class at the moment even with his past exploits.

There are other fighters who are making a good go of getting through their division and actively looking outside their division for more challenges.. They were where Hatton was when he travelled up to 147, and there was big arguement for Hatton being P4P #2 then behind Mayweather, and if he actually beat Mayweather, in my mind would have been #1...

His only let down for the top spot is that he's unable to venture out of 140 anymore,,, and that 140 isn't the most stacked division at the moment by any means.. So the accolades just aren't there for him like other fighers.. His run at it was 1 to 2 years ago... Even if he beats Pac now I feel..

he only fought twice at 147 Mayweather and Collazo, its a shame he didn't adjust to 147 because thats where the big fights are now(apart from Pac )
