i 100% agree, the problem with most fighters is that they dont fight the big money fights that allow them to leave their former lives, the reason most fighters fight is to escape their lives and make a better life for family ect, of course loving the sport helps. but the reason most fighters turn into wankers is because they surround them selves with wankers its a known fact that if have assosiated yourself with idiots then you become an idiot, the trouble with boxers is that crime figures and big bad men love the fact they know a fighter and if you a pro then they love it and soon that fighter beleives he is untouchable, he can fight and has an outside backup in personal life, thats what happens!, this guy is an asshole who thinks he's rock solid and untouchable, why has he been released early?....because he cant handle the prison life its not a boxing ring or a domestic enviroment for him to throw his fist around, his breif would have set up a deal with the courts to say that he has been given a chance by the boxing board to get his career back on track and needs the proper training facillities for his next fight when ever that will be!! he desearves NO chance, put him in the femae ranks maybe he'll enjoy hitting a few birds lol

We were discussing this at a boxing show I went to last weekend, and Scott Harrison was held up as the exception of what boxing can do, with the rule being that most people involved in boxing are so confident in their ability that they don't need to prove anything outside the ring, therefore why most boxers you meet tend to be gents, as a rule, and not get into this kind of bother.

However, money and fame corrupts, and brings with it the kind of lackeys and hangers on who can turn someone who is lacking in self-esteem, or easily swayed into this kind of idiot. Don't think we'll see him between the ropes again, he's got enough trouble staying sober and out of the cells.

When he was world champion, and we saw his training regime of running in the highlands with military rucksacks, and his exceptional efforts in making weight, he had the tools physically to be decent on a world stage, not a superstar-beater but decent, he just didn't have the character to match.

An update courtesy of fightnews.com, apparently Harrison was scheduled for a court appearance in Spain earlier on, where he was duly arrested and sentenced to 30 months in prison for assaulting a police officer and stealing a car.

    His career is over.

What are the odds that his friends or former promoter puts out the occasional story that he's training in the Spanish prison and looking fantastic, a la Naseem Hamed, continuing the rumours for a couple more years.
