I have maximum respect for youngblood, the only proper redblooded young teen lad on here.
Overcoming a drug addiction at 13, banging girls at 14, a top class amatuer junior boxer, he's the next generation's CutmeMick, with a bit of Violent D meanness mixed in.
I think lefty and Amat could both learn a lot from you.

Sad but true. If you are all for a loving relationship and willing to risk having a sex life that will be a bit more limited and every once in a while and also the risk of getting everything snatched away from you in divorce (divorce rates are as high as 50% of marriages according to most surveys/studies) and end up in the street, then go for it. In the long run, prostitution will be cheaper and the sex experience will be way better than with the typical gf/wife.Chinos right prostitution is cheaper and probably more interesting to some when you add up the whole marriage deal.

man, and i thought i was cynical..
first off, what andre said is correct.. whoever cares less holds the power..
with that said, i've been in a few serious relationships (years at a time) and the sex was always good.. I enjoy having sex with someone i'm "in love" with than just some random girl. Me and my friends decided that you have to have sex three times with a girl to get the full experience and appreciate her body.. this is usually cause i'm always drunk when i do some random girl, but it's true.. i don't even know how many people i've been with and on top of that, most of them were only once and i really didn't enjoy it NEARLY as much as someone who i've been with for a while....
plus, when you say "typical" wife or girlfriend, what does that mean? Maybe i don't aim for typical or something but i want someone who will travel with me, and someone who is as outgoing as i am.. someone who can be one of my best friends.. MAYBE it's just me, but i'm all set with doing those things with a prostitute..
finally, my last thing that kills your argument about the whole "buying a girl a drink or dinner is like paying a prostitute" is the fact that you're playing her like it's a game.. You go out, and you're trying to land a hot girl that you hope you can take home.. 50%+ of the fun is the chase and the mystery of it all.. the "is she into me" and "what will happen next".. Then when you finally land her, it's a great feeling of accomplishment. This adds SO MUCH to the whole experience.. If you're paying for a prostitute, which i think is heavily frowned upon and shows terrible signs of desperation, then there is no mystery. she's going to come over in something slutty, probably fukked out of her mind on heroine, and is going to sleep with you, then ask for money. WHAT AN ACCOMPLISHMENT.

It makes sense what you say, but by the letter of the law I think there are other issues. Age of consent is 16, is it not? Odds are you will never have to deal with it, but as a mature 14 yr guy a parent of a 14 year old girl could make trouble if they wanted to. Anyways, it's none of my business, I'm not even sure why I asked. Party on.

Heheheheh! :Pwrap yer whacker b4 you attack her...
Yep! That's how it is. Interestingly, many women out there prefer to keep things "traditional" in relationships which it doesn't surprise me why but tell them that guys would like women to go back to "traditions" which means keeping them at home to bake cookies, mop the floors, do the laundry, and keep the house clean just like the woman on Leave it to Beaver and it is totally insulting to the female gender. So which traditions should we keep then?I think it's true that the relationship revolves around the girl...
Women can do cute things for me and its all good. I just don't understand why if two people are involved in a relationship it is expected/demanded for men to take care of it all.Unless you are a very very evolved man and entirely have your shit together like completely that a woman just does not phase you one way or the other what they do...
I know, I wish it went both ways to keep it balanced/equal. The places where I normally get approached is when I am travelling in Asia and not just 3rd world Asian countries and those girls show lots of initiative/equality/balance. Stuff that I just don't normally see back at home (Mexico/USA).And I agree that men generally approach women...
Next time a guy takes you out just take a simple look around you when it is time to pay for anything (movies, dinner, entrance to X place, etc.) and you'll see what I am talking about. Google the topic or go to any library to the relationships section and you'll see how men/women agree that men should do it all in relationships. Women consider that men who spend their money on them show they are real men, they are gentlemen, they show that they are serious, show how much they like the woman, and so on.But you're so wrong after that point. Buy drinks, beg for number, hassle on phone, take to dinner... Man that is setting it up that she's the queen of everything
Does it make sense to you that men are expected/demanded to do it all in the relationship and after proposing to the girl, getting her a ring that will cost at least 2-3 months of his salary average, giving speeches to both families, etc. End up being ignored in the wedding? They are just an accesory of the bride. If a relationship involves two I don't see why not a woman would also propose, buy him an engagement ring, and everything else that is only expected/demanded to the guys. Aren't we all for equality?

No you can approach a girl, but as soon as she's decided you're not a total loser...[quote]
See, that's another thing. If a guy doesn't have a job, a car, career, etc. It will be so difficult for him to score. If he dared himself to talk to both families about marriage in that situation, that is wrong. I can assure both sides of the families would totally disagree. Have it the other way around and it is totally acceptable. Anybody would still pick up a girl regardless. A girl is an expense as cold as it may sound but not the other way around.
Wouldn't that be a form of prostitution? Anything in exchange for sex is prostitution. It can be from straight out cash to a fancy dinner, a designer label purse, etc.If they just had sex with him in return for nothing else
Then I guess I have been lucky to have some women in my life be the aggressors when it comes to sex only to have me reject their offers. Am I an Adonis? Far from it. It's just that the opportunity presented itself like that. It's a complete misunderstaning of the dynamics of relationships to think that a woman can pull a man for sex
Wouldn't a prostitute be cheaper in the long run and even better with no strings attached, no dramas, better performance, no headaches, will try anything in the book without seeing you as a pervert, etc.?right.. i mean, let's face it.. i take a girl out to dinner, maybe take care of the tab at the bar, get her some nice christmas presents, all for what? All for the fact that i'm banging some hot chick that wants to be pampered every now and then.. i'm pretty okay with that, and i don't really think that the things i mentioned burden me in any way.. i'm italian, i love eating food in any shape, i love going out to dinner.. i love drinking.. i like giving thoughtful presents, and in return i get sex? works for me!
Same here but also bars would be the last place I would consider to pick up women (or be picked up when I am in Asia).Maybe the high maintenance girls expect drinks for you to talk to them but i refuse to talk to those girls...
I agree. It has even happened with girls that may not have a great paying job or are studying full time. Even when I go out with girls like that and I just don't feel like letting them pay they still go out of their way to contribute to the relationship or date in one way or the other. I totally dig that. I just got back from Thailand and I met this girl (not in the red light district) who at first was a bit hesitant to go out with me until she accepted. Girl took me out to nice places to eat, along the coast of an island, etc. We were sitting enjoying the view and she told me she would be back. Minutes later she comes back with food she bought for the two of us. I was like "No no no no, here, I'll take care of it" and she refused over and over. I took her to a nice fancy dinner at night with a great view of the beach and she accepted. It's not that complicated really. It's just equality/balance were things revolve around both. Then again, while living in Japan when I was an exchange student I met this girl out of the blue in the city. Executive look, briefcase on hand, etc. We stopped for a chat and exchanged info. Went out as a group and later started dating. I was just an exchange student but still she liked me. A girl who was surrounded by all these guys in top positions, cool cars, etc. Yet, she chose me. Took me out for dinner one night in this awesome restaurant with a great view of the city and she took care of it. Saved some money and took her to try some Mexican food later. I went back home to graduate and she surprised me on Valentine's Day by flying from Japan to my place to spend our first Valentine's Day together. I totally dig that.I really have never bought a girl a drink EVER while trying to talk to them.. i've taken girls out for drinks after i've met them and what not, but i refuse to spend money right off the bat...

i think it's the principle/gesture more than actually spending a bunch of money...[quote]
That's right. It can be something that doesn't cost a girl a single penny, but the gesture. For example, I was visiting this place in Japan that was too cold for me and the girl I was with was totally comfortable with the weather. She saw me and all of a sudden I just felt how she was putting the jacket on me and I was like "No no no, we are almost there, you wear it!" and she told me that she was totally fine with the weather. As I wore her jacket I looked at her and yes, she was right, she was all normal walking not even shaking at all. Little things like that mean A LOT to me. Sure, she may have thought that "I am the man" so therefore I could endure a few more blocks and it should be the other way around but not her offering me her jacket. All those society rules of how men should be with women. I don't see why it can't be the other way around as well.
Heheheh! Yeah. The engagement ring, the proposal, the speech to both families, being ignored at the wedding while she is the total center of attention, honor, and celebration, etc. No feminist out there will complain about that. The engagement ring bit you're not going to escape

You've totally misunderstood my point Chino. Lot's of girls think they can pull guys and are pleased with themselves when they get laid.
But as I said this is a complete misunderstanding of human dynamics. When it comes to one night stands, man is the hunter, women the prey.
Any girl who think's she's pulling a guy is just deluding herself. Unless she is repulsive physically (and even then it's often not fatal) the guy will fuck her if she asks. It has nothing to do with him liking her or her 'pulling' him it's just that that's what men are biologically programmed to do.
Imagine a worm that boasted to it's friends (ok I know it would be dead but hypothetically) that birds loved it and every Robin it had approached had eaten it, as if that made it special. It would just be a very sad and stupid worm.
Likewise girls who approach men in a club to try and get laid for a self esteem boost are generally just low value or unnattractive girls, being forced to offer themselves in exchange for nothing to get attention.
A girl shouldn't boast about having lots of one night stands with men any more than a man shouldn't boast about being saddled with the same woman for 10 years and being completely under the thumb.

Age has a lot to do with it. As I, and the sort of women that get my attention, get older, I find the women more willing to buy the first drink, make their feelings known, etc. Who does what becomes a lot less of an issue.

Bilbo,
So you can't see a girl getting turned on by a guy and going after him for sex, her being the hunter? Heheheh! My self-esteem is going down darn it! :P I've had a few girls in the past be the aggressors. The ones who bring it up. The ones who just want to get it on. Even worse, I have rejected them.
I have read numerous sexology studies out there by Discovery Health, Dr. Drew Pinsky, Kinsey Reports, Masters and Johnson, Dr. Sari Locker, Dr. Ruth, etc. That show that the whole myth about "Men want sex, women don't", "sex is a man thing" is nothing but a myth. Maybe it is more socially acceptable for men to be open about their sexuality while women are looked down upon.just that that's what men are biologically programmed to do.
How about girls that just want to because they are feeling horny and found a nice handsome, well-built, young rich guy with a cool car? We even see this kind of behavior in the animal kingdom. Sure, animals don't really "enjoy" sex as humans (except dolphins if I remember correctly). You see a female bird lifting her tail to the male bird's face who has more stored food. You see the female lion walking all slowly and seductive around the lion who has more land, who's guarding the food, etc. Have two all around nice guys approach a girl but one of them has a cool sports car, lots of money, good job, etc. While the other guy has none of that. Who will walk out of the bar with the girl? :roll:Likewise girls who approach men in a club to try and get laid for a self esteem boost are generally just low value or unnattractive girls, being forced to offer themselves in exchange for nothing to get attention

You're not getting it mate. Yes we've all had girls come onto us in clubs and been chatted up by them.
But they don't have any long term value as a result. If a girl freely offers herself to a stranger for sex then she's not pulling him, she's just offered herself basically as a sacrifice.
No man (well ok maybe a low value man will) is interested in entering into a relationship with a girl who approached him for sex when they were strangers.
They are are purely one night stand material, a bang, nothing more, because in the process of offering themselves to you on a platter they have destroyed any value that they might have otherwise had.
So I repeat a woman cannot 'pull' a man, i.e entice him to sex because that is his biological job anyway, all she's doing is offering herself without resistance.
The girls' biological role is to 'keep' a man, i.e have him still interested in her after sex. If she goes out and sleeps with strangers on the first night she has no value as a long term partner, at least not with any high value man who has any degree of choice.
