I don't mind chick flicks.. Not an enormous fan of Anne Hathoway, but HAVE been tossing up (yes I said up not off) whether to see this movie..
In the other thread about great movies that sucked, someone said this was rubbish.. For me to enjoy a movie based solely on the lifestyle of 2 gay guys, it better have a good story or action or whatever. I don't want to watch it and just feel like i've wasted 2 hours..

IMHO, the only reason Brokeback got the publicity and kudos it did was because it was about two gay guys, and they just don't make mainstream movies like that very often. If it's about a hetero couple, people would be falling asleep in their seats. It just ain't that great.
But that ain't the question Bilbo asked. You seem like an open minded guy. See the movie. It's not exactly hardcore or anything, I think you should be able to handle it, if you're a Hathaway fan you will likely store a few images in your brain that you can whack off to when you get home.![]()

Yeah it didnt have the shock factor for me,Ive lived in NY LA and was born in Philly,if I saw video footage of a man taking it from a horse, about all Id probably think was,"Man,I bet that hurt like hell"
So two Cowboys in love didnt exactly shock the hell out of me.
I mean credit to both actors for really risking their careers on that film, but I cant be made to watch Beaches at gunpoint. And its the same type of sweeping love story shit that makes your wife get weepy.
I love my wife for rarely making me watch that type of crap, but it was on,and she was curious, and I was stuck watching it. Im only suprised Whitney Houston didnt sing the theme,or Celine Dion
