Yeah it didnt have the shock factor for me,Ive lived in NY LA and was born in Philly,if I saw video footage of a man taking it from a horse, about all Id probably think was,"Man,I bet that hurt like hell"
So two Cowboys in love didnt exactly shock the hell out of me.
I mean credit to both actors for really risking their careers on that film, but I cant be made to watch Beaches at gunpoint. And its the same type of sweeping love story shit that makes your wife get weepy.
I love my wife for rarely making me watch that type of crap, but it was on,and she was curious, and I was stuck watching it. Im only suprised Whitney Houston didnt sing the theme,or Celine Dion
I think we're pretty much on the same page with this topic. It didn't gross me out either, but then again, I didn't have to play the part. So credit to the actors for as slighty different reason also.
In all honesty, thats part of why I give them credit for doing the film. I wouldnt want to do a tongue kiss with a man in the privacy of my own home. These are two straight actors doing it on film.
And Im not saying it like an anti-gay thing,as long as everyone's a consenting adult,I dont really care what in the hell you put where. But being straight, man I couldnt do that.
Actually one of the reasons I think being gay is genetic,Im a really liberal dude, and the very thought of making out with a guy makes me twitch slightly,I cant see how youd choose that.
Let the discussion spin out of control right about now
