Interesting subject. One of those where you really have to stop and think, because you know your life cannot really be complete before a thorough answer to this philosophical dilemma is contemplated.

It's a bit weird to use the concept 'real world setting' to a hypothetical situation revolving around 40 midgets in a ring. Anyway, I think you are wrong. I think 20 midgets would be able to defeat the lion, if working properly together, and while _that_ is unlikely to happen right away, wouldnt it start to happen when the little fellows see what became of their friends?

I mean, at the point where the 20 guys next to me were all smashed to pieces, I'd probably not fancy my chances staying still and doing nothing either.
