Sam Peter never had the "goods" he had power but he thought too much of it and never honed his skill. Right now David Haye is following the same path.
David Haye has in his amateur career and his pro career so far been able to get by on his handspeed and power. Haye hasn't had to fight anyone bigger than himself, Haye hasn't had to fight anyone stronger than himself, Haye hasn't had to fight anyone more powerful than himself, and Haye hasn't had to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat vs Wladimir Klitschko he's going to have to basically do all of those things for the first time ever.
Wladimir is a tested heavyweight champion, he has the best jab that I can remember it may be on par or even better than Larry Holmes' jab, Wladimir has lost only 3 times in 55 total fights and he's won 52 of those fights and 46 of those wins coming by way of KO and most of those wins were against bigger and more experienced fighters than Haye.
To quote Manny Steward "We're going to introduce him to big time boxing"...that's exactly what Manny said before Wlad fought Sam Peter and right now I see Haye exactly where Sam Peter was only David Haye has already shown MORE weakness than Sam Peter had by that time. David Haye has proven NOTHING to me and when Wlad beats him up people will finally say "Haye didn't have enough experience"...just remember I called it beforehand
