If Klitschko comes into the ring with bad intentions, I just don't see Haye being able to deal with the size and skill of Wladimir. Haye's chance is obviously to land a huge shot to the very questionable chin of Mr. Klitschko, but in the end, I think this is a blow out, big man slaughters little man, with the outcome never in doubt.....but then.....I could be wrong.......

At least it is an interesting match, and doesn't involve a 90's retread.

You have to admit Haye is putting his money where his mouth is (assuming he signs the contract).....He could have milked a few tune up heavyweight fights to make a few bucks and build up the fight to make some serious cash...instead he is going for broke...

Either he is confident in his abilities, worried he will get sparked by a fringe contender, or is just plain nuts.....

One thing for sure Carl Thompson didn't whip Wlads ass
That's irrelevant. Haye had 10 fights, he was young and inexpeirenced. And just gassed out.

Very True, not sure why people go on about a fighters early loss.

Hell Bernard Hopkins lost his 1st fight and had a rather successful career.

Wladimir Klitschko was Ko'd by Ross Purrity early in his career but did that loss mean that he could never get better.

Haye has had 4 fights at Heavyweight not the 2 that so many think.

I don't see Wlad taking this. Nothing is signed and I won't believe it till it is. In the last few months he hasn't done anything to convince this is a fight he wants. He knows Vitali likely has the tools to beat Haye, but I don't see he standing in there with a young hungry puncher who can find a way past his jab. If Haye gets a shot, it'll be Vitali.

What has David Haye ever done to show he can get past a jab?...much less a GREAT jab!

I hope you Haye fans are happy when David is waking up from his little nap wondering if he even came in second....he's never going to be the same!

Haye wins just by getting in the ring with either one of those laboratory creations. The fact that a chinny cruiserweight is the best possible opponent for them tells you everything you need to know about the heavyweight division and the fact he has a chance to beat them tells you how good they actually are. If there was a half-decent heavyweight out there he could beat them both on the same night.

....don't fool yourself, Haye doesn't have a chance.

Even if Haye was to land one of his Hayemakers who is to say his punching power works at heavyweight And even if it does work he has to follow up Sam Peter caught Wlad with ILLEGAL punches and couldn't stop him....Corrie Sanders caught Wladimir flush on the button and Wlad still got up before a 10 count

Anybody who can punch has a chance against the glass-jawed brother. That's why he fights like a big fairy, terrified to get hit on his crystal jaw.

First of all Haye has not earned a shot at any HW belt and second I don't think he could make it up the ladder to contend

Haye has a better chance against Wlad.

I still think Wlad wins though.

    Great Post,

I think it was very telling that Wladimir's older brother once again was ready to step in once again to protect his weaker chinner brother.

That chin must be really fragile if he's worried about a little Cruiserweight.

Terry Dunstan did that to Gurov in 14 seconds (including the time Gurov was counted out) AND that was before Haye got to him AND lasted 12 rounds with Karl Thompson.

Man, Dunstan woulda took Haye to school..he still might he made his comeback a couple months ago

Haye has a better chance against Wlad than Vitali but show the guy some respect man. He's been through everyone there is to offer and his KO ratio is sky high. If he's knocking that many people out by 'slapping' then Haye should be fucking terrified.
