I dont see williams going back to 147,but Quintana wrote the blue print on how to box and beat him.If Williams keeps getting hit as much as he did Vs.Quintana 1 at 154 and higher, its only a matter of time before it catches up to him for a loss.
who ever makes the other fighted fight his fight wins. Simple to say but simole to do is another thing.
paul does still look to be the same fighter, he likes to fight short and that really is his downfall. If he used his reach to his advantage and had a better defense he'd be almost unbeatable. he does have a great chin and great workrate so I do think on his best night he beats anyone from 147-154. I think he'd take quintana in a third fight, not a quick knockout but outwork him while getting hit plenty himself.
I tend to think Paul's own assessment of the first fight, that he was just having a bad night, is mostly the right one. In particular he was not able to establish his jab. I agree with what has been said about not using his height and reach to their greatest advantage, and that his D is not so great. However, his offense is a good part of his defense and when his work rate is high and esp. when he establishes his jab, he out lands his opponents by a large margin.
I think he would KO Quintana again, but probably later in the fight.
