Just got their album, I heard handlebars and thought that it was a pretty good song... the rest of the album is much deeper and more developed in terms of music. Handebars ticks all the right boxes as a single but there's some really good stuff on here.

Politcally aware lyrics remind me of Lupe, Fort Minor and Black Thought and the instrumentals and band are excelent, sort of pop-rock/hip hop beats but with horns and violas... reminds me of incubus in some ways and what early gym glass heroes cold have developed into (Don't get me wrong I still like gym class... just for the few catchy tracks they have... cookie jar etc is a laugh even if I don't really like them as the 'serious band' I used to )

At first I thought he was bragging about pretty stupid shit... but if you listen to it more it's showing the contrast between 'normal people' and those with power.

That's the point of the song, the difference between the 'stupid lyrics' and the powerful ones.

Handlebars is pretty decent for a mainstream single but you should check out the album properly. depends on what type of rap you like too I guess

It's slightly different but good none the less. I don't think either of them are particularly talented MCs or anything I just love the instrumentals and they have something to say.

Yeah, I probably heard it about 4-5 months ago when I went to Global gathering 08.

wasn't wowed by Handle bars or anything and thought he was boasting about shit, was stuck in the house a few days ago so downloaded a few albums just to try and got "fight with tools" from pirate bay
