Man Pacman is a diva, this guy has got to be the worst person to do business with in boxing! worse then Roy jones jr in his prime.

Even Floyd mayweather jr is not as hard to do business with then pacquiao, floyd jr accepted a 70 30 against oscar.

I think Manny is being foolish here, because there is no way he will get more than 50-50 against Mayweather whose people will just not let that happen, as well as the fact it would not generate the money the UK PPV's do for Hatton. 52-48 is a pretty good deal, it really is starting to look like Pacquiao is avoidin Hatton.

In terms of future opponents, for Pacquiao, there is Mayweather, but I doubt he will get more than 50-50 against him even if it did post bigger numbers in the US, whilst Marquez III is another option and one where he could get a bigger piece of the pie, but I can't see this being as lucrative as Hatton.

Hatton can fight any 'name' and he will do good numbers. I think one fight he could go for is Cotto at a catchweight of 144 or something, if Cotto doesn't go straight to Margarito after demolishing Jennings. This could also be fairly big money wise, and would probably do close to 1,000,000 buys in the UK. My cousin was working at SkySports for the Malignaggi fight, and their internal estimate on the night of PPV buys in the UK was somewhere between 500,000 & 600,000, so think about the money that could be made against a more renowned name like Cotto. Plus if Hatton did it in a stadium he can make a bundle off ticket sales.

Still hope that Manny sees sense and makes the fight.

There is no draw out there for Hatton, like Hatton/Pacquiao....He is missing out on $4 to $6 million more than any other match up and possibly as much as $10 Million. except... GBP and TOP Rank are the guys doing the nego. Pacquiao didn't quite get that he is making the lions share by taking half of the UK PPV's when Hatton didn't have to agree. Top Rank was betting on a hugue PPV UK draw. On Pacquiao's side, and you can't really blame him by defeating ODH and beacuse of his own appeal makes him the top draw in Boxing no matter who he is fighting. He just wants that recognition. What the promoters should have done was shut up about the UK money and rewrite the split 60/40 Hatton UK PPV and 60/40 US PPV buys for Pacquiao with a slight guaranteed purse going to Pacquiao. Since Hatton's crew believes UK PPV are the bigger draw they should have had a problem.

I would venture to say that Hatton would be responsible for 95% of the UK PPV buys and at least 50% of the US PPV buys.

Not taking too much away from Manny, was coming up against a bigger man, but lets face it... Oscar looked dead in there... old and weight drained... if Oscar boxed like a zombie then Hatton is a very live body and might actually be able to make the natural size advantage count for something.

Fucking hell... I'd fight for less than 1% of what these guys are getting... 2 men... perfect 50-50 split? what's wrong with that?

I don't think Pacquiao is being foolish, he deserves more money than Hatton deserves to make, he is fighting the bigger guy, he is the one with everything to lose, Hatton has nothing to lose.

He would make a lot more money fighting Mayweather even if it was a 50/50 split, that fight would be huge in the states and probably go for nearly 2 million buys.

Also IMO Pacquiao beats either Cotto or Margarito, he is way too fast, and not just of hand but of foot, I mean Zab Judah could have beaten Cotto with he would have consistently thrown that left hand and Pacquiao does throw it more, and he sets it up better. Margarito is a lumbering giant of a man, but he has terrible footwork and Pacquiao is way quicker of foot than Cotto and way lighter on his feet, everytime Margarito comes barreling in Pacquiao will easily maintain the distance, and he can do it all night, and if Cotto looked so fast against Marg, imagine how Pacquiao will look.

Both of those guys just have to hit him clean once to slow him down, and its all over..

Cotto is deceptive with his handspeed, and would crush Pac.. its a matter of when not how they will catch him

Oh man this is so disappointing, as a Hatton fan I don't want to see any of the other fights now rumoured. ODLH and JMM just don't appeal as Pac has already beaten them. And I just don't see him beating PBF in a rematch.

Why Pac has backed out is beyond me, he stands to make the biggest purse of his career in a Superfight!! Surely he's not scared, no way with his resume.

I hope your right but i think if the fight was going to happen it would of been signed hope iam wrong.But the signs dont look good with Hatton already lined up a couple of fighters to fight him in England in the summer.
