Great fighter but was a bit of a spoilt brat when he lost or things were not going his way.
Used to love watching his fights on sky tv and itv in the 90s.![]()

Balls
where did you guys buy this? where can it be ordered from?
The key is Self-discipline.
People should watch his first title fight, you get to see him on the back foot for a change. And fighting off the ropes countering beautifully, he has underrated skills you guys should check that fight out.
Good call,Had to go dig up ol #64 and rewatch.Chavez looked so fresh. He really used the ropes, ecspecially in the 5th round, even taunting Martinez and waving him in.The final round was a bloody battering as Chavez stepped it up big time.Still not sure how it was stopped??The ref walks Martinez back to corner and waves it off.Not sure if Corner signaled it,ref did or Martinez said he was done?A sign of greatness to come from Chavez.
Many great fighters are bad losers, Eric Morales comes to mind as they are not use to losing, when it happens it hurts them. they could be humble but why lie.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
All his defeats, he disputed the first loss to Randall, ODH first fight, did not give him credit in the second. No big deal, at his best he would have destroyed them and the fact that you are getting old did hurt his pride.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
