Ok guys just decided at the last minute to do this.
Marco Huck 23-1 (18 KOs)
vs.
Geoffrey Battelo 18-0 (15 KOs)
most bookies are saying this is going to be a walk in the park for Huck, I'm not totally sold on him yet though

Cagey openning - favoured Battelo
Round 1
Slow start, Battello throws meaningless slowmo jabs against Hucks high guard. Batello moves in and out lands a right hook to the body. Huck doing nothing so far. Batello goes back to the jab chasing huck around the ring. Finally Huck tries a right hand counter a misses by a mile. Battelo is putting a little more velocity on his jab now. Huck looking sluggish. A lazy straight right to the body from Huck. Huck rushes in and lands a 1-2 and a right hook lands on the back of Battelo's head. Nobody landed anything worthwhile, Battelo was the general for more of the round
Battelo 10-9

Round 2
Battelo starts off the same way as round one, Huck showing more upper body movement. they trade jabs in the center of the ring. Battelo is really trying to jab right through Huck, so far Huck hasn't shown a plan to evade it. Huck misses a jab and lands a straight right. More jabs from Battelo. left hook from Huck lands. A powerful jab from Battelo misses and Huck pushes him to the floor. Huck is stuck in neutral.

Very good finish by Huck - stepped it up a gear in the 3rd and Battelo couldn't cope.
Round 3
Huck rushes in and I think he was going for a suplex. Ref warns him for wrestling. Huck is going now, getting relentless land a few telling blows. A left hook staggers Battelo and he falls back to the ropes. Battelo gets his legs back and lands a right hook of his own. Battelo throwing a few Hayemakers looking desperate. Huck backs up to the ropes, but he doesn't look in any trouble. Huck lands and huge left right left right. Battelo lands an uppercut and Huck lands a bigger one, Battelo goes down. He beats the count, Huck gets all over him Huck unloading bombs and the ref waves it off

Nice! Thanks for the RBR, Huck is going to special.
Thanks, Sheep. Huck by KO was my joker. Chalk up another 14 for me...if my longshot SD for Mosley hits, I'm going to do a backflip.
Firat Arslan will be probably Hucks next opponent...

Good work Greg,
Huck has the kind of raw rage that Tyson used to have, with less of the boxing skill that Tyson had. It looked like in the early rounds Huck's trainer had told him to try and box and see what Battelo had to offer, and Huck trying to box involves him standing still and trying to remember what a jab does. Once he knew he had him, he went in the third and he's wild, misses a large percentage of his shots, but when he does land, it's lights out.
Classy no. Heavy hitting, yes.
Huck definately ended it with a bang, but I have a feeling against someone that's more of a boxer (i.e. Cunningham) Marco may never get going. Good win for him, Battelo had the right game plan in the first and most of the second, and then he forgot to move and it was all Huck from there.
