Once again your on crack thinking Mosely and Mayweather are the same type of fighter. Mayweather could not manhandle Tony like shane did. Mayweather gets pushed to the ropes by ODLH, and Hatton. It would be a totally different fight, so knock off that shit with assuming someone else beat a fighter so anyone can do the same thing to him.

i'd say it's the opposite, it just goes to show just how talented the welterweight division is, that anyone can beat anyone, like Kellerman said last week, no one is safe, in the welterweight division
Exactly, Quintana shocked Williams, Margarito shocked Cotto, Mosley did the same to Margarito, Manny beat Oscar...its just a crazy division with a lot of talent and alot of contrasting styles. There are many interesting fights that can be made
the mosley marg fight wasn't a shock, nor the quintana williams fight, imo...

Styles make fights, and it turns out Shane has the right style to beat Tony. One bad defeat does not make Tony overrated, he just lost to the better man tonight. Make no mistake he is still one of the best Welterweights in the world. He has already proved that. He deserves credit for fighting the best like a true champion. As for Shane, this is a great win to add to his HOF resume. By far one of his biggest wins and best performances.

Margarito is terribly overrated, it wasn't just styles that make fights, Mayweather would own him. Margarito doesn't hit that hard, HE CAN be hurt, he needs to be allowed to throw punches.

I wrote what I did after the first round. I am not sure if I said, but I also said after Margarito-Cotto this is exactly how Cotto should have foughten Margarito.

The fact is Cotto is a million times better than Margarito, he just fought the wrong fight against the wrong opponent, and he isn't super durable.

More skilled doesn't mean better. I agree and I do think Cotto has way more skills and I'm partial to guys with more skill then the guys who just gut forward but damn, give him a little credit for being a fighter who's been able to have a lot of success in a tremendously skilled division.

No losing because your styles don't match up doesn't make you worse. Cotto beat Mosley, he had a way closer fight with Margarito than Margarito had with Mosley. Paul Williams isn't that great, and he beat Margarito and IMO would doso again. Mayweather would beat Margarito, as would Pacquiao, maybe even Berto.

Now your just drinking the kool-aid,Mosley even at this stage is lightyears ahead of Berto...and a Pacquioa at about 150,that what they come in at with Margarito.Williams will never again rome at Welter, prior to and after tonight.

No, it's a bad matchup for Cotto. If Cotto have attacked Tony as aggressively has Shane did, Cotto would have been done in 5. Yes. Cotto a more complete all around fighter than Tony, but he's chinny and has only average speed. But you were still convinced that Mosley didn't have a chance against Tony. So let me get this straight, you really felt that poorly about Mosley? Cotto is a million times better than Tony...yet Shane lost to Cotto by one round. A very close fight in everybody's opinion but yours. Shane has won belts at 154, beaten Oscar 2x, Collazo (Easily, who gave your man crush all he could handle), Mayorga, and Vargas. Lost to a much bigger Winky by one round on two cards and drew with him on the other. And Shane only won because he clinched.

Denial ain't just a river in Egypt.

Cotto and Mosley IMO were/are stronger, Cotto was able to muscle Margarito around when they were tied up, but then he would back away instead of staying in his chest which I said he should have done. I can't believe how easy this is.

This why you can't idolize him, he is no JCC.
Exactly! I have also compared Baldomir to Margarito if he ended up facing Mayweather. Both Margarito and Baldomir have power in their punches but not so much in the speed department.
