Mosley knocks Berto the fawk out!To strong inside, accurate and riding HUUUUGE momentum off tonight.Berto coming off so-so wtf descision where his defensive lapses were glaring and he raised more questions than he answered.

If Mayweather were to come back and actually take the fight, I think he would beat Margarito on points pretty comfortably- but NOT even come close to knocking him out. Above 140 he fights very smart (some might say boring) when he's fighting naturally bigger men - not the case against a blown up 140 pounder.

But he's retired and I hope he stays retired unless he fights at 140 or below, because above this weight he fights too "smart" for my taste.

Props to Shane Mosley for a incredible performance and to both fighters for making the fight happen.

I am betting you that Shane wouldn't stop Berto, he isn't landing those punches he did on Margarito on Berto. He was having a hard time landing really clean punches on Collazo while Berto did with ease. MOsley was lucky that Luis broke his hand, because him being southpaw and being so quick really gave SHane problems early, then Luis stopped punching. You want to see defensive lapses? Watch Mosley-Wright I and II, Watch Mosley vs Cotto, MOsley vs Vernon Forrest I and II, Mosley vs Vargas I. That is a guy who is easy to hit. Berto may have had defensive problems but Collazo was still landing under 30%, and he hardly landed at all when they were actually boxing. Berto has a way better jab, he is faster than MOsley, a better boxer, he hits harder, I say he can take Mosley's punch, and he is in just as good of shape.

Watch Mosley-Estrada and then Berto-Estrada and you will see who has more power, who is faster, who is better.

Also how would you think Berto would do against Forrest not well in my book and Winky would take him to school those arent good examples.

Its funny that you mentioned it because, Winky actually sparred with Berto during his preparation for his fight against Ike Quartey, Berto was his chief sparring partner, and Berto more than held his own against Wright. Against Forrest, its impossible to judge that fight, Forrest definitely is super human, I mean look what Mayorga did to him. IMO Berto would give him a run for his money, and I am not saying Berto is the best fighter in the world, but he will be one of them soon, and stylewise Mosley will have terrible time against him. He hates fighting guys who are fast, guys who can jab, and nobody likes fighting a guy who is hard to hit, which Berto is when he is fighting normally(like against Forbes).

berto and cotto should fight....shane beats berto with pressure...Shane only has two fights that are smart for him...pbf or the hatton pac winner...

Shane pressures Berto? Berto is the higher output guy, and he isn't Margarito, he has way more skill and athleticism to back him up, if not physical strength, I mean this guy was a TOP running back prospect had he gone to college instead of going into boxing, people compared him to Warrick Dunn, obviously not the biggest guy, but still very powerful compared to most welterweights.

IMO once again and I will agree to disagree he outboxes Shane, and makes Shane look like what he is, a boxer-puncher who isn't the best puncher or boxer out there.

Berto has alot of gifts alot like Mosley but he tends to not take a step back and cant stay focused so that is his down fall not what he can do with his speed and power but how his mind set is this is a very mental game reason why Leonard was so good because he was very gifted with speed power and chin but he was also tough as nails and never gave in.

Pressure him by walking through his shots constantly. and cutting the ring off...not by throwing a lot, simple aggression by stalking. Berto's stamina is suspect..and he doesn't have the power of shane. Shane would stop berto.

Look Mosley has beat Berto best name on his resume in better fashion and when he was like 10 years older and not prime i not saying Berto would not go on to be great but come on him facing Mosley very tough fight. I dont think Berto can hurt Shane tell you the truth maybe he can but i know for damn sure if Mosley counters him with power shot it my be all she wrote for Berto in a way he kinda reminds me of Mosley and i like him but on that not sure just how good his chin is and he makes just as much mistakes and Mosley does if he trys to duke it out with him game over Berto while hit teh canvas faster then Margrito did wont be pretty.

Don't play that game. It doesn't work. Mosley will KTFO Berto. If they fight, within the next year, let's have a little sig bet. For one month you change you name to BertoNugger and add to your sig "I am not worthy to watch Shane Mosley fight because I'm too stupid to appreciate his greatness."

Throw anything you want at me. I'll change my name to "Sucks Mosleys Balls" or something like that. Whatever you want.

FUck off Seanie... Collazo was doing fine against Mosley before he broke his and didn't throw punches with any conviction for the rest of the fight. Mosley certainly isnt' that much better than Hatton, and look how much better he did than Hatton against Collazo as well. I know how good MOsley, I've seen almost his entire career.

Who on here said Mosley was going to win this fight, let alone by KO? Half you people don't state what you think, and talk shit after the fact.
