Scrap, Amritza is not the incident I am looking for. I am aware of a massacre at Amritzah (India I believe) by Britsh soldiers, but I believe that was a one day affair that involved at most a few hundred casualties, am I correct?

Anyways, the event I am looking for is the city of Nanjing China, where the civilians were slaughtered by Japanese soldiers prior to the outbreak or WWII. The event is known as "The Rape of Nanjing (Nanking)" There is some extensive and unpleasant video dicumentary available on Youtube. Be forewarned, it is not pretty.

I only found out about this a couple years ago, it is not as well known as you might expect

Yeah, the Imperialistic Japanese were a little strange back then, definite visions of grandeur. I guess they thought they were going to take over the US or something also.

Thank God they eventually tried to do just that! without the American forces we couldn't have all won the war for England .

Kidding, The English were the backbone to all resistance, we all should have helped them alot earlier and banished the Gerrys and the Japs as one massive combined effort right at the start of each section.
