Why is it so hard to believe we'd have an Australia day?

No we don't have a Canada day. We wanted one but the queen said "No...bow to me!"

So now when the USA celebrates July 4th, we go to the river (we're a border city) with our picnic baskets and watch their fireworks and pretend it is ours.

It's really quite sad, actually.
