When he is remembered, a person can always jump in and bring it up. But to somehow try to offer Antonio Margarito is innocent because of it? C'mon.

You can NOT compare the obvious and undeniables fact that the majority of padding was removed from a pair of gloves...resulting in a death to a still under investigation and as of yet fully disclosed finding of questionable material,.....Come on?Broad brush falls on both sides friend

.I do agree though that you can not hope to enhance a guy,or justify the situation.....by tearing down someone else.This situation does not have a thing to do with Mosley,Tony and camp have to shoulder the findings and Mosley deserves full credit for a class fight/victory.Period.You said it yourself...we should wait for the facts?.

Yes Spicoli, I agree we should. This poster went on an offensive towards Mosely in a number of threads and it got under my skin. Offering Collins dad's POV is a fact though...whether it is true that Margo actually did anything or not.

When I started the "Margarito caught cheating" thread...I did that about the 4th round into the fight, and frankly had never heard of such a thing and was trying to see what people knew on it...both current situation and history. And so it began to snowball.

I will go back into waiting for definitive proof. My gut tells me the outcome isn't going to be good though. And believe me when I say...I hope they find it was all a big mistake, and he did nothing wrong. And that I had as I believe many others, great respect for Tony. And I sure don't want the sport dirtied by it.

So let us wait and see. I hope my gut is wrong.

Good points all Youngblood.What ever 'it' is and what comes of is unknown.No doubt in the court of public opinion,Margarito is already wearing a a brand.Whatever the outcome and official findings,Camp & fighter need to be held accountable to the tee.It sucks all around really,really.
