Have Ticketmaster improved?

I bought 2x$500 tickets for a Barrera fight. Got to the MGM went to collect my tickets....no tickets. Apparently they had tried to contact me on the Friday/day before the fight at home to confirm. Because they couldn't get hold of me they let the tickets go and I wouldn't get a refund for several days.

You wouldn't be able to contact me because I was in a plane flying here!
You've had my money for months and choose to confirm the booking the day before and won't give me my money back to re-purchase my tickets for several days?

As you can imagine I was a tad put out by this.

Things worked out in the end but damn I was ready to kill someone. Check the fine print if buying for events abroad.
