Booth seems like a smart guy & I think if he wasn't up to it, he would move himself aside for someone else before David Haye had even thought about it.

There are many very good trainers that we havent heard of. Haye probably has a good trainer, he did win world titles. I think it comes down to chemistry. Look at Jermaine Taylor. He left his original trainer and went with Steward, but now hes back with his original trainer and doing better.

Exactly. On this forum for example. There are a few great guys that know their boxing. If you were to get one of those guys I'm sure you could do very well. You don't have to be world-famous to be world-class. I'm sure there are better "unknowns" that the superstar trainers we hear about.

It wouldnt hurt...Haye doesnt excel in the area of fundemental skills and will be facing someone that does (and someone that is bigger and punches harder) haha - he has an upward battle and could use any help he could get!!!!

Lyle has said it best here.

I dont think it matters if Haye shows up with Mayweather Sr, Angelo Dundee, and Mr T all at his side, Wlad is going to pound him stupid.

Why does the world love David Haye? Because he hits hard? A good punch does not a fighter make.

He is sloppy, he rarely knows how to pace himself, his defense is awful, and there is NO goddam way he can take a Klitschko shot flush on the chin without some serious fargon side effects.

    ....

IS IT POSSIBLE that David catches Wlad early with something massive? Yea sure I suppose. Anythings possible in the heavyweight division, but it is most assuredly PROBABLE that Haye feasts on four or five rounds of nasty jabbing from Wlad and then catches a hellacious right hand to end all the Haye supporters' dreams.

Wlad by beautiful KO in 6.

Will someone PLEASE figure out how to get a Klitschko, either of them, in the ring with Valuev?

I really think Klitscho is being overrated here but we will see come fight time!!

Haye is fast and powerful that is enough to win the majority (Not all) fights his technique is not bad people are judging him this way based solely on his fight with Monte Barrett.

I really hope Wlad is thinking the same way as you guys! because if he is he is going to get knocked out.

If he has not underestimated Haye, he should win but it will be his hardest fight in a very long time as Haye will not come to sit on the ropes like Rahman he will try his best to knock Wlad out.

Wlad had a tough time with Tony Thompson and why Well Tony is a big boy AND he is defensively sound...Calvin Brock had a tougher style than David Haye has.

Wladimir controls PACE and DISTANCE by using his jab and until someone can dodge that or tire Wladimir out again by weathering a storm of power punches. I don't see Haye having the discipline to beat Wladimir....he may land a wild punch but he will have to follow up and I can't see Haye doing that either

In reply to the original post, I feel if Haye does "tighten up." he'll get beaten far easier.

Being loose, limber and fast is his only hope.
