I wouldn't look too far into what was said here. Actually, I think it doesn't matter. People have their minds made up. Even if Margarito, trainer will probably take the fall, is found guilty there will be people who think he is still innocent by ignorance. But this excerpt is just splitting hairs. The evidence is with the commission and it dang sure ain't extra gauze. But with boxing being more business than anything I wouldn't be too surprised if nothing much came from the investigation. Hell, Mike Tyson had to bite Holyfield's ear not once but twice and then off just to get suspended. But if boxing drops the ball on this one it will lose the rest of its crumbling creditability. I love boxing as a competitor, coach, and fan but I refuse to cover the truth.
