Frankly I'm tired of all these opportunists trying to make a buck (and advance their p4p status) by beating up on the little guys.

Granted, it backfired like hell in DLH's face (I still smile at the memory)... but Hatton's not as far removed from his prime as Oscar was.

Who's gonna want to fight Pac next? Pavlik? Give me a break, for crying out loud. Let's have fighters fighting within their OWN division.

Yeah, Pac looked fantastic at 147 against DLH... but Oscar was a shell of his former self. Don't let that fool anyone. The bull-rushing Hatton would wear Pac out and eventually knock him out. And sadly, people would want to elevate Hatton to # 1 p4p status, something he would most definitely NOT deserve for beating the undersized Manny.

He`s 5pound off of his original weight division how the hell would it be beating an undersized manny

Sad to see the hatton haters from across the pond already drawing up their excuses before the fight has even taken place.

I stick with my original opinion that it`ll be an all time classic that has hatton coming off the canvas to stop pacman late on and rightfully earn his status as p4p #1

i'll go for hatton to stop manny late on,although pac has advantages in speed and overall ability ricky is very strong at the weight unlike oscar so although it may take a while i'd take hatton to catch up with him and stop him between rds 8-10.

I don't think Hatton can catch up at all. Pac's best punch is his Left straight & Jab. I can't see Hatton effectively touchiing Pac at all.

2009 might not be good for British boxing... Calzaghe retired (good for him) then Hatton might suffer his 2nd loss possibly in a worst beating in his entire life fashion... Who will the British fans turn to?? Amir Khan?? (if he beats Marco Antonio Barrera)...

I hope Roach can Create Miracle with Khan's chin. We don't need Barrera anymore. Boxing needs young exciting fighters. Khan can use a Barrera win for his stardom.

Ha ha Even if Hatton beats PAC black and blue, that win won't rightfully elevate him to no. 1 P4P status... No. 4 or 5 maybe...
