Default Jermain Taylor v. Allan Green

    Froch's out of the picture?

Allan Green is the leading candidate to fight Jermain Taylor on March 28, on Showtime.

Just think Taylor is on an entirely different level at this point.Green has talent but outside issues/illness and aside from Miranda fight, has not stepped up to that next level.Seems stuck, pedestrian wins over a fully shot Carl Daniels and Williams just kept him warm Imo,Taylor has maintained at high level.....strong jab and experience might just unravel Green. So where does Froch go from here??

    Green is a live underdog.

At least as of now, I'm not even sure who I pick to win this fight.

Who will Froch end up with? Andrade or Bika would be good tests.

If Green comes in focused (and keeps his eyes off his shoes), I can see him taking out Taylor. If not, this could be a snoooooozer.

I see a chance of an upset here too. Taylor has never seemed much of an outstanding fighter, the kind you would think it would take to beat Hopkins twice. But after that it has been he has pretty much seemed ho hum.

I'd say a focused Allan Green could cause an upset. But Taylors experience against top opposition would give him the edge imo

I enjoyed watching Miranda knock the shit out of Green, and I'm going to enjoy watching Taylor do the same thing. One thing Green does have is power though, and Taylor's chin does have a few question marks around it based on his recent fights (though both Pavlik and Lacy are heavy handed fighters).

First of all I'd go Taylor because I think that him and Kessler are the best 2 men at SMW.

But to be honest I really wanted to see the Taylor-Froch fight. I honestly think that someone who would be in Taylor's face all night pressuring like Froch would, would bring out the best in Taylor and I also think that this would make for a good fight.

taylor is there for the taking if you ask me and his team is clearly dodging froch like the plague because of this fact.

its sad to see but taylor-green is far more likely than taylor-froch, taylor-kessler

Clearly, what with Froch's myriad of glowing accomplishments and all...

In terms of competition, is Allan Green is a step down from Froch?
