I think soccer and boxing are definitely the only really global ones...
What sports after that have the most coverage
Basketball maybe? That's probably the closest behind soccer.. Softball could be up there as well... Cricket has some pretty good coverage also but there are still a lot of places that havn't heard of it like Miles said..
Football
Tennis
Snooker/Pool
People in Africa don't really have pool tables but have you ever seen the reception boxers get when they go back home to Africa?
I would say Track, soccer and boxing and I've made this argument quite a few times in the past.
Id add Tennis and Golf to that, Roger Federer or Tiger Woods usually win the World sports star of the year, number one has to be football.
Masturbation has to be the most played sport in the world.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
Right you are my friend. An interesting statistic that I head some time back is that there are more books writtem about chess than all other games and sports combined. It's played in just about every country in the world. Check out all the countries that play in the chess olympiad.
yeah Diz, I thought about basketball too. It comes close.
What about golf? There are courses all over the place within many nations. Ive always thought of it as a bit of an elitist thing though. I cant stand golf anyway, so boring to watch.
Fishing, even Eskimos do it. In England 4 million people fish every week.
